OUR origin story

Built on decades of experience

Hoyer and VMS Group came together in 2025, bringing together two strong legacies within power and motion. Founded in 1974, Hoyer has built decades of experience in electric motors, while VMS Group, established in 2001 as Vestergaard Marine Service, has developed deep expertise in marine service and repair.

Today, Hoyer VMS unites these strengths in one company, combining product, engineering, and service capabilities across global markets.
